The Deputy Caleb Desrameaux, Special Rapporteur of the special bicameral Commission responsible for preparing the election of the provisional President of the Republic of Haiti revealed the schedule for the process :

Friday, February 12 at 4:00 p.m. will be holding an information meeting with the registered candidates;

Friday, February 12 at midnight, will be published the list of candidates invited to participate in the elections, with the inadmissibility motifs of non-selected candidates;

Saturday, February 13 will take place the election of President a.i. of the Republic of Haiti by the National Assembly, then the results will be published in the official journal Le Moniteur.

Sunday, February 14, 2016, installation of the provisional President of Haiti.

The Secretary rapporteur invites organizations of civil society, the press and Religions for Peace to observe the process in order to ensure transparency of the latter.

Recall that the Special Bicameral Commission is composed : of Senateor Wetsner Polycarpe, President, of Deputy Patrick Norzeus, Vice-President, of Deputy Caleb Desrameaux, Secretary / Rapporteur, and of deputies members : Enel Appolon, Salem Raphaël, Vickerson Garnier, Castin Constantin Peter, Price Cyprien, Willer Jean Jean and Anouce John Bernard ; and of senators members : Jean Baptiste Bien-Aimé, Ricard Pierre, Carl Murat Cantave, Jean Marie Junior Salomon and Nenel Cassy.
