Following the Summit of National Sports Assizes https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-15899-haiti-politic-validation-of-the-national-sports-policy-document.html the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Civic Action (MJSAC) established the National Committee of Monitoring of National Assizes of Sport (CONASANS).

This Committee composed of 27 members of the sports sector, the press and civil society, including 13 central delegates, 12 regional delegates and 2 representatives of the Ministry has a mandate of 12 months to accomplish its mission to develop all the strategies, approaches and actions deemed appropriate that must lead to the voting and the promulgation of the law on sport and ensure compliance with the commitments made by the authorities and the actors of the Haitian sports sector.
