Haiti - Economy : Launch of the Chamber of Commerce of Women Entrepreneurs

Friday in the garden of the Haitian National Pantheon Museum (MUPANAH) in the presence of many, entrepreneurs, representatives and members of chambers of commerce, parliamentarians and members of the diplomatic corps, was officially launched the Chamber of Commerce of Women Entrepreneurs of Haiti (CCFEH), chaired by the political scientist, Ms. Daniella Jacques.

According to Ms. Martine Théodore in charge of the presentation, this new Chamber of Commerce is primarily a business open circle of exchange and networking at the service of women entrepreneurs and carriers of ideas, in order to foster growth, facilitate trade, investment and access to new markets.

The CCFEH intends gather business women in Haiti to constitute a force in economic decisions of the country and work for the promotion and the effective integration of women in Haitian affairs.

The projects of the young Chamber of Commerce for women is not lacking, it envisages among others: to make investors shows; business promotion forums for women in the ten departments; the publication of a register of business women in Haiti; a week of exchanges in the diaspora on women entrepreneurship and the establishment of an academy for women entrepreneurs.
