The Consulate of the Republic of Haiti in Orlando informs the Haitian community in general that a day of the citizenship organized by the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association, Inc in partnership with NALEO Educational Fund will take place Saturday, April 23, 2016 in Orlando, to all holders of a permanent residence card who wish to apply for US citizenship.

The Communication Office of the Consulate specifies that all requests will be reviewed by an experienced immigration attorney for free.

Conditions of admission :

• Be 18 years ;

• Having a permanent residence card for 5 years (or 3 years if the person is married to a US citizen) ;

• Not having to travel outside of the United States of America for 6 months or more ;

• Having resided in Florida for 3 months or more ;

• Speak, read and write English ;

• Do not have a criminal record and have not committed any crime or offense.
