Moïse Jean-Charles threat to switch sides

Wednesday Moïse Jean-Charles, the former presidential candidate under the banner of the platform "Pitit Dessalin" denounced the many missteps of President a.i. Privert. In addition he launched a 48-hours utlimatum to members of its platform that would be linked to the transitional government and to dissociate themselves if they want to stay within the pateforme. Moïse Jean-Charles threat Privert to join the opposition, if he not correctes quickly what he considers as missteps.

A partisan Verification Commission ?

Guichard Doré one of the official of PHTK critic the composition of the Verification Commission "supposedly independent" whose members are sympathizers or relatives of Privert and representatives of the platform Pitit Dessalines. He denounced a plan of the Head of State to retain power for two years by playing on time.

Parliament will decide the fate of Privert

President a.i. Jocelerme Privert said he had held discussions with parliamentarians to find a consensus on after 14 May and 14 June (end of term of 120 days). He had a first meeting with parliamentarians and should meet with the different blocks in the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies. He acknowledged that it is for Parliament to decide his fate at the end of his term, according to the clauses of the agreement of February 5.

On Wednesday, President a.i. Privert accompanied by Prime Minister Jean-Charles had a meeting with executives of the Ministry of Public Works and Civil Protection around the hurricane season. Later still accompanied the PM he chaired a council of ministers at the National Palace.

Jean Marie Altema Wednesday, the Director General of Conatel met Natcom and Digicel around the billing of their service and of positive and transparent commitments.
