Registration for the 7th edition of the "Digicel Entrepreneur of the Year 2016" are open. Remember that this national competition, aims to identify, reward and encourage businessmen and businesswomen full of future on whose initiative the economic bases to support Haiti will be thrown. It searches seven key qualities: business expertise, leadership, transparency, vision, creativity, environmental awareness and ingenuity.

Applicants must be leaders who founded and built companies that have not only created jobs, but also helped to revitalize local community and help boost the economy at large. These companies must have at least two years of operations.

Once the deadline of nominations passed, the list of applications received will be reviewed, resulting in a preliminary list of candidates. And the selected candidates will then be interviewed in the offices of their companies and detailed individual reports will be prepared for the jury.

Then will be compiled a second list of candidates, this time that of regional finalists - 24 for each of the four regions. It's from these 96 finalists will be selected 24 competitors at the prestigious national title - four in each of the six categories of the competition.

The closing date for submission of applications is Friday, July 22, 2016
