Haiti - Elections : Revocation of Vice President of BEC of Anse Rouge

The Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) informs that it has decided to terminate the contract of Valentin Achaz, Vice-President of Communal Electoral Office (BEC) of Anse Rouge, for fraudulent manipulation and falsification of decisions of the Communal Electoral Office of Litigation (BCEC) taken November 28, 2015. The involvement of Valentin Achaz in the additions and omissions to the judgment of the Office of the BCEC, was recognized by Me Joseph Morency, electoral judge of BCEC of Anse Rouge, also Magistrate at the Court of First Instance of Gonaïves, in a attestation dated December 7, 2015 and confirmed in the minutes of the decision issued by the National Electoral Litigation Office (BCEN), on May 27, 2016. In addition, the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) reserves the right to take any measures deemed necessary to bring the public action against Valentin Ahaz. HL/ HaitiLibre
