Friday, July 8, the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) has completed its consultation tour, which began in late April, with the organizations of civil society and political parties and groups around the electoral process.

The involvement of all key stakeholders, including political parties and groups and organizations of civil society "is an important vector of mobilization to raise vigilance and citizen engagement, in view of a credible and transparent elections," according Léopold Berlanger, President of the Council.

Their support to community observers deployment project, tends to reinforce that that CEP has obtained from almost all organizations and political parties and groups met for about two weeks.

Nevertheless, representatives of organizations have urged the Council to put everything in motion to combat the negative factors, harmful to the electoral process, including corruption and violence. They want members of the polling stations are recruited at the level of civil society organizations instead of political parties. Moreover, they demand accountability of leaders of political parties that received a government subsidy in the context of the 2015 elections.
