The General Directorate of the National Identification Office (ONI) is warning the citizens that from Monday, August 15, 2016 they must appear in person for any request and retrieval of identification certificate.

The Directorate General of the ONI would like to remind all citizens, that the certificate is issued pending the printing of the National Identification Card (CIN). Also, citizens must provide a valid reason to justify its request for certificates.

At the time of retrieval of the certificate, the beneficiary must provide proof of identity and its phone number.

Note : Only the Legal Service is authorized to issue the certificate to citizens. It is forbidden to ONI employees to produce a certificate or deliver them to citizens.
