Haiti - Elections : Towards the development of a strategic security plan

Thursday just days before the opening of the electoral campaign, an important working meeting was held at the Ministry of Justice, between Camille Junior Edouard, the Minister of Justice, the new Secretary of State for Public Security, Himmler Rébu https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-18330-icihaiti-politic-installation-of-himmler-rebu.html and the High Command of the National Police of Haiti around a strategic security plan.

This document must take into account the problems to which the Haitian population is faced daily. Road safety, traffic of firearms in the country are issues to address in a short time in the opinion of the participants.

The police training will be included in the strategic plan. Technicians believe necessary to strengthen the capacity of the security officers to perform their duties more professionally.

Restore a climate of security and regain the confidence of the population, are the interest of responsible of the public security gathered around the table. To that end, the General Directorate of the National Police is working hard to force the bandits to disarm and to ensure the safety of public buildings including the Legislative Building.
