Haiti - Social : Promise kept by Sophia Martelly

Thursday, the team of the Rose et Blanc Foundation (FREB), led by its co-founder Sophia Martelly, proceeded to the delivery of keys of a house to Manoucheka Kétant and David Bernard, the parents who gave birth last year to triplets, including two Siamese at the University Hospital of Mirebalais.

Recall that during her visit to the hospital the day after the surgical separation of Siamese babies, a success and a first in Haiti https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-14005-icihaiti-health-a-surgical-first-in-haiti.html , the former First Lady met the mother, Mrs. Kétant, which had shared with her the desire to see her daughters grow in adequate housing.

A year later, with the support of the Haitian Centre of Research in Planning and Development (CHRAD), of companies Tropic SA, E-Power, Haytrac, Bongu, Big O Productions and private donors, Sophia Martelly, as promised, handed to parents, already owners of a field, the keys to their new house, not hiding her satisfaction to be able, through the Foundation, to contributing to the well-being this family.

Note that the Rose et Blanc Foundation, which works in the social for over 20 years, is an initiative of the couple Michel and Sophia Martelly and aims to contribute to the development of the individual within the community.
