Thursday, September 1, will be held the Fair of the Haitian Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) around the theme "Financing and growth of the Haitian SMEs: Challenges and Prospects" organized by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MCI) in partnership with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the National Support Programme for the Structuring of Entrepreneurship Haitian (PANSEH).

The overall objective of this fair which will take place at the Hotel Karibe Convention Center, is to promote the creation and growth of SMEs Haitian. Specifically, it aims to :

• Give SMEs access to the various services for the development of companies existing to MCI ;

• Value the existing financial products on the Haitian market for SMEs ;

• Create a dialogue environment between local financial institutions and SMEs, while allowing the latter to initiate funding requests from the institutions present on the day of the fair ;

• Create business partnership opportunities between several SMEs or between SMEs and investors.

The de facto President Jocelerme Privert and the Minister of Trade and Industry, Jessy C. Petit-Frère should make an appearance at the fair.
