Haiti - FLASH : Results of Bac extraordinary session (9 departments)

The results of Bac extraordinary session 2015-2016, according to information provided by the National Bureau of State Exams (BUNEXE) are now available for 9 departments :

Success Rate by Department - Extraordinary Session Baccalaureate 2015-2016 :

For the department of North West there have been 1,283 admitted, 2,041 eliminated and 38 absentees out of 3,324 participants for an average success rate of 38.6% (Jean Rabel 76.69%, Port-de-Paix 31.99%, Saint-Louis du Nord 8.98%) ;

For the department of Nippes there have been 109 admitted, 857 eliminated and 40 absentees out of 966 participants for an average success rate of 11,28% (Anse-à-Veau 30.67%, Fonds des Nègres 5.19%, L'Asil 8%, Miragoâne 9.77%, Petite Rivière de Nippes 3.13%) ;

For the department of South East there have been 439 admitted, 1,222 eliminated and 28 absentees out of 1,661 participants for an average success rate of 26.43% (Bainet 23.38%, Belle-Anse 15.22%, Cayes Jacmel 25.37%, Côte de Fer 25.49%, Jacmel 31.42%, La Vallée de Jacmel 13.46%, Thiotte 17.65%) ;

For the department of South there have been 647 admitted, 1,532 eliminated and 47 absentees out of 2,179 participants for an average success rate of 26.69% (Aquin 26.34%, Camp-Perrin 35.37%, Carrefour-Joute 25.6%, Cayes 25.92%, Coteaux 46.55%, Port-Salut 66.92%, Torbek 15.17%) ;

For the department of Centre there have been 174 admitted, 3,214 eliminated and 106 absentees out of 3,388 participants for an average success rate of 5,14% (Belladère 4.04%, Hinche 5.52%, Lascahobas 3.25%, Mirebalais 5.54%) ;

For the department of the Artibonite there have been 933 admitted, 5,926 eliminated and 230 absentees out of 6,859 participants for an average success rate of 13.6% (Dessalines 21.45%, Gonaïves, 9.89%, Gros Morne, 11.42%, Liancourt 19.19%, Petite Rivière de l'Artibonite 2.25%, Saint-Marc 21.04%, Saint Michel de l'Arralaye 12.17%, Verrettes 14.53%).

For the department of the Grand'Anse there have been 566 admitted, 1,465 eliminated and 25 absentees out of 2,031 participants for an average success rate of 27,87% (Beaumont 27.78%, Dame-Marie 10%, Jérémie 31.33%) ;

For the department of West there have been 5,918 admitted, 24,520 eliminated and 2,080 absentees out of 30,438 participants for an average success rate of 19,44% (Archaie 15.86%, Bon Repos 17.66%, Cabaret/Cazale 18.27%, Carrefour 20.76%, Croix-des-Bouquets 13.05%, Delmas 17.84%, Ganthier 4.17%, Grand-Goâve, 31.83%, Léogâne 8.2%, Montrouis 17.68%, Pétion-ville 23.19%, Petit-Goâve 10.59%, Port-au-Prince 23.44%) ;

For the department of North there have been 3,110 admitted, 3,582 eliminated and 117 absentees out of 6,692 participants for an average success rate of 46,47% (Acul du Nord 64.08%, Cap-Haïtien 45.72%, Grande-Rivière du Nord 43.85%, Limbé 53.14%, Pigon 29.89%, Plaisance 53.71%, Saint Raphaël 52.48%).

The Ministry of Education indicates that the results of the North-East department will be published soon.
