Haiti - Elections : Communication strategy for the elections

Friday during a multi-sectoral working session chaired by Marc Aurèle Garcia, the Minister of Culture and Communication, have been validated and adopted the outline of the communication strategy for the elections of 9 October.

This session, to which took part in particular, Chimène Sylvestre, Communications Adviser of the Office of the de facto President Privert, the Directors General of Culture, Jean Michel Lapin, Communication, Necaire Grégoire, of the National Radio Television of Haiti (RTNH), Dishler Marcelin, as well as Richardson Dumesle the Communications Director of the Provisional Electoral Council and his counterpart in the Primature Emmanuel Jean François, was an opportunity for all participants to agree on an integrated strategy results-oriented, covering three main areas: neutrality, encouraging participation and information.

As part of this strategy whose the main objectives are to inform and educate the electorate through a new educational and informative approach audiovisual and digital will be favored.

Minister Garcia took the opportunity of this meeting to officially launch the program "Pawòl Eleksyon" which will be broadcasted on the RTNH to strengthen the awareness process through social networks (Twitter, Facebook, Soundcloud and Youtube...)
