Many organizations and young leaders in their social activities find it difficult to mobilize resources even in their communities. To resolve these difficulties, "World Merit Haiti", in partnership with "VIE Jeunes Haiti", will organize, on November 18 and 19, 2016, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, at the HELP premises located at # 4, Rue 5, Pacot, a Community Development Training Workshop for young leaders in Haiti (cost 250 gourdes).

This workshop will include modules on mediation and community communication, resolution and transformation of conflict, community resilience, and the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) leadership model.

The trainers will be Elga Laroque, President and Founder of the Haitian Mediation Institute and consultant to the Action for Mediation (Actmediation) program at VIE Jeunes Haiti, who received training in Mediation, Management and Conflict Transformation at Viva Rio in Brazil And Nephtaly Pierre-Louis, Event and Logistics Manager at "World Merit Haiti", certified to conduct workshops on the ABCD leadership model and community resilience by the Haitian Leadership and Excellence Center (CLE).
