Haiti - Security : The National Police of Haiti is asked to...

The Primature informea that at the end of the special session of the Superior Council of the National Police (CSPN), held Monday at the National Palace https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-19304-haiti-security-special-session-of-the-pm-on-post-election-incidents.html by the Prime Minister, Enex Jean-Charles, in the presence of de facto President Jocelerme Privert it was asked the National Police of Haiti to :

a) To remain vigilant in order to protect the democratic gains resulting from the polling day of 20 November;

b) Continue to occupy the various arteries of the capital and the rest of the country;

c) Diligent and promptly conclude an investigation into the causes of the fire declared on the evening of the vote to the Market of Frères;

d) Prosecute all those who praise violence, in particular through false alarms, in the aftermath of the elections of 20 November 2016;

e) Investigate the actual causes of disturbances on the Ed'H distribution network in the metropolitan area, the Central Department and the city of Gonaïves https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-19301-icihaiti-elections-edh-explains-about-the-blackout.html ;

f) Prosecute any offender to the provisions of articles 197, 197.1 and 210 b of the electoral decree on demonstrations and other similar activities likely to disturb public order.
