Haiti - FLASH : BRIDES publishes a report on the distribution of votes

The Haitian polling firm, 'Bureau de Recherche en Informatique et en Développement Economique et Social' (BRIDES), published a report on the distribution of votes, dated 25 November 2016, from 997 photographs of minutes (Taken by BRIDES investigators) in randomly selected polling stations out of the 11,993 BV at the national level representing 99,452 voters counted.

Jovenel Moïse (PHTK) 56.68% (percentage of voters for a candidate excusing white votes)

Jude Célestin (LAPEH) 18.01%

Marysse Narcisse (Fanmi Lavalas) 10.64%

Jean Charles Moïse (Pitit Dessalines) 11.41%

Jean Henry Cénat (Renmen Ayiti) 0.67%

Edmon Supplice Beauzile (FUSION) 0.54%

and other candidates 2.05%

We specify that IT IS NOT THE RESULT OF ELECTIONS, BRIDES not being able to determine the valid PV of those quarantined by the Verification Unit of the Votes Tabulation Centre (CTV), nor on which candidate this quarantine will have an influence. Note that according to the latest information available to the CTV, 2/3 of the 22% of verified reports were quarantined, the others were reintroduced into the system. Therefore an information to be taken with the usual reserves.

Lastly, let's reminds that on Sunday 20 November at a press conference, Léopold Berlanger explained https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-19292-haiti-elections-berlanger-satisfied-preliminary-results-in-8-days.html "[...] we know that the data that allow to build the results are available to all, they will be on the CEP website, in the polling stations [...] but these data are not the results. The results are a combination of data, data analysis, data evaluation and a compilation of the data and finally a decision that the CEP will publish, it's only that which is the result."*

The Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) reiterated its willingness to publish the official preliminary results of the elections of November 20, Monday, November 28, 2016.
