Haiti - Culture : 4th Edition of the international Festival Étonnant voyageurs

From 1st to 3rd December will take place in Haiti, the 4th edition of the International Book and Film Festival, Étonnants Voyageurs.

Let's recall taht this Festival, created in 1990 by Michel Le Bris, Christian Rolland and Maëtte Chantrel, was joined by Jean-Claude Izzo, gathered each year writers from different countries in Saint-Malo for three days of meetings, debates, readings, literary cafés, in 25 places of the city.

Since then, the Festival has expanded in several countries, particularly in Haiti, where this year's fourth edition will take place: three days of festival in Port-au-Prince and in the provinces: meetings, school activities, debates, Literary cafés, film screenings...

Authors, directors from all over the world, novelists, essayists and cartoonists of all genres, to the many ways of understanding and telling the world in which we live, gather to debate, meet their audience and exchange on the themes of the festival.

Schools, libraries, bookstores, cultural centers, performance halls in Port-au-Prince or the provinces will host this year's festival, of which the FOKAL Foundation is one of the addresses.
