Saturday morning at the National Palace courtyard, de facto First Lady Ginette Michaud Privert, accompanied by her husband Jocelerme Privert, organized a morning of celebration and giving gifts for hundreds of children and young schoolchildren from many parts of the capital. "We think of all the children, wherever they are, we say them Merry Christmas," said Ginette Michaud Privert, before singing and lunch with the children. She took the opportunity to wish Merry Christmas to parents, valorous men and courageous women who struggle every day for the education and future of their children.

Several hundred gifts were distributed to children who spared no words to say thanks. Animations: singing sessions and games of puppets also animated this special morning.

The de facto President joined his wife, to wish the children and youth of Haiti a Happy Christmas 2016 and a Happy New Year 2017.
