In order to promote the Haitian carnival, "Plezikanaval Timoun" organizes a great carnival contest for children "Konkou Kanaval Timoun 2017".

Conditions of Participation and Regulations :

Participants are encouraged to register online for free on the website : www.plezikanavaltimoun.com/

Participants must present an original carnivalesque meringue not exceeding 6 minutes. The meringue singer (s) must be between 5 and 15 years of age.

Deadline for registration: January 27, 2017

10 semi-finalists will be selected by a jury composed of well-known personalities of Haitian music.

A combination of votes from the public and the jury will nominate the 5 finalists who will have the chance to perform live during a grand concert organized for the final on 24 February 2017.

The final concert will be broadcast live on the TV channels partners of the contest and on the facebook page of the organizer.

There will be 3 big winners :

First Price: 120,000.00 Gdes + Sponsors Packages (Educational Games, Electronic Gadgets, etc...)

Second Prize: 80,000.00 Gdes + Sponsors Packages (Educational Games, Electronic Gadgets, etc...)

Two albums "Plezikanaval Timoun 2015 Vol 1 and 2" will be produced from the best compositions and put on sale online from February 2017.
