Haiti - Elections : Legislative's preliminary results this week

Monday in a press conference, Robinson Chérilus, Directore General of Vote Tabulation Center (CTV) indicated that at midday CTV had already received a little over 35% of the 38,755 Minutes (PV) from 5 departments. 29% are currently in treatment and 5% have already been tabulated.

He clarified that the 950 people mobilized at the CTV will give priority to tabulating the PVs concerning the complementary elections of 8 senators in order to deliver the results to the Provisional Electoral Council (PEC) on Friday 3 February in order to respect the electoral calendar. The CEP should publish these preliminary results on the same day normally...

Concerning the legislative elections (Senators), he indicated that 42% of the 10,833 PV had already been received from 5 departments, but still none of the departments of North, Northwest and Grand'Anse. However, he explained that due to the arrangements made to facilitate the collection and routing of PVs , he expected the CTV hold all PVs on Tuesday.

Regarding local elections, results should be sent to the CEP within 4 weeks or less. Currently, the CTV has received: 28% of the minutes of the Boards of Communal Sections (CASEC), 26% of the PV of the Administrations of Communal Sections (ASEC) and 50% PV of city delegates.
