Recall that Dr. Jack Guy Lafontant was elected Secretary General of the Democratic Movement for the Liberation of Haiti or Party of the Democratic Rally of Haiti (MODELH-PRDH) party legalized in Haiti since 1987.

For the record, MODELH-PRDH advocates among others :

"An organized State with leaders insightful, recognized in public or private administration for their integrity, competence, know-how and leadership, visionary and able to anticipate the future by adopting public policies favorable to sustainable development, a State that is respectful of democratic principles and capable of coherently assuring its regal function (establishing the rules of the game, scrupulous and equitable application of the law, administrative principles and procedures, respect for public order and protection of private property, etc...) through the strengthening and effective functioning of institutions with programs, budgets by objective and performance indicators.

A new, more pragmatic society in terms of investment, wealth creation and national heritage protection, with a more entrepreneurial, progressive private business sector engaged in a dynamic partnership with the public sector to fight corruption, promote economic growth and regionalization, social justice and the fight against poverty, a society imbued with feelings of equity, solidarity and ownership-belonging to the country."

In addition to this political commitment, Dr. Jack Guy Lafontant is a close friend of President Moïse, he has all the confidence. He would also be according to our information, the doctor of the Moïse couple for years.
