Tuesday Michel-Ange Gédéon, the Director General of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), proceeded to the graduation of the 2nd Promotion of Students inspectors. In his speech, addressing to the new inspectors at this graduation ceremony, he declared :

"[...] I urge you to take the full measure of your mission in a country where the biggest bandits are not always simpletons, simple-minded people who are met through the streets or disinherited who are enrolled in gangs. They are found everywhere, through the city and the countryside, in the hovels and alwo in the villas. So I invite you to fight mercilessly against bandits and traffickers of all kinds.

Be men and women of conviction. When you believe in the rightness of a cause for this country, do not let be distracted [...] to paraphrase Robert Greene, 'the cause of your fight is right'. It is you who occupy the ground of morality, apply your strategy of virtue. Having done your duty is the only thing you never regret. Under my leadership, the PNH [...] will not hesitate to neutralize its black sheep, if there are black sheep. We hope that each actor will play its card with this patriotic fervor, without pretense. I know the fight will not be easy, but it's just. The PNH is not going to let go. Arm yourself with courage !
