Haiti - Education : Winners of the National Spelling Bee

The U.S. Embassy in Port-au-Prince, is proud to have sponsored the 3rd Annual Haitian National Spelling Bee which was held on March 24th at Karibe Hotel. A/DCM Thomas opened the event and he reiterated the U.S. Embassy’s dedication to supporting education initiatives in Haiti. We would like to congratulate the excellent participants but would like to give special recognition to the following winners :

Category One- 1st Place : Owen Antoine, Union School

2nd Place (3-way tie) Antonio Compoy, Union School; Nikolas Vejnovic, Union School; Anais Joyce Lusalusa, College Les Oliviers
