The Electricity Haiti (EDH) informs its customer of Mariani, Merger, Gressier, Darbonne, Léogâne, Carrefour Dufort, etc... in particular and the general population, as a result of short circuits, the distribution line that ensures their supplying through the Rivière Froide substation has suffered from triggers several times in recent days.

In order to prevent such incidents, maintenance and pruning work is under way to improve the reliability of the line. However, the EDH apologizes for the disadvantages that these power outages have caused for its customers and reassures them that all the arrangements are made to complete this work no later than Thursday, April 13, 2017.

In addition, the EDH wishes to stress to the customers of the Commune of Tabarre, especially Tabarre 27, road Maïs Gâté, Tabarre 36, Tabarre 48, Tabarre 23 that they could not be powered in the night of April 9, 2017 because of the interventions of individuals who have diverted the lines of their normal course. It recalls once again that such dishonest acts can cause unfortunate incidents and will not hesitate to take the measures that have been taken by law with the competent authorities in order to restore the normal course of the circuits.

The EDH once again invites the population of the Commune of Tabarre not to tolerate and denounce the acts of piracy aimed at satisfying a small group which behaves like beneficiaries to the detriment of the vast majority of the clientele .
