This weekend in Hinche, in the Central Plateau, the National Police of Haiti (PNH) carried out a major dragnet by arresting a woman Dominican : Wendy Romero Santana, presumed Head of a gang of car thieves and 3 of his accomplices, whose names and nationalities were not disclosed by the authorities.

This gang was specialized in car theft intended to be resold in the Dominican Republic.

The alleged criminals were arrested while aboard a white Hyundai Tucson SUV. During the operation, police seized 2 9 mm revolvers, 4 magazines and 53 bullets, a 12 gauge rifle and 67 cartridges, 6 American passports and an Argentine passport, as well as two plates of vehicles bearing numbers G381465 and G357029.
