In the Northwest department, military of the corps of engineers have carried out a major intervention to help the population to evacuate.

The 105, emergency number of the CPD

Several communes in the Northeastern department are flooded: Caracol, Ouanaminthe, Fort-Liberté, etc. In case of emergency call 105, the Emergency Call Center of the Civil Protection Department (DPC).

The Director of Civil Protection confirmed the rise of waters in several departments such as the North-East, North and Central Plateau.

5 flooded communes

There are several districts of 5 communes in the department of the Northeast that are flooded: Karakòl, Fòlibète, Wanament, Otwou and Ferye.
