Haiti - Politics : Thousands of Haitian children receive their NINU

Wednesday in Bassin Bleu (North-West),as part of the program "Konte'm Mwen Konte", First Lady Martine Moïse, accompanied by Deputy of Bassin Bleu, Denis St-Fort began the second day of the campaign of identification and vaccination of children.

Thousands of children in this locality have obtained their Unique National Identification Number (NINU) which they will retain throughout their lives https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-20893-haiti-politics-good-news-for-the-identification-of-haitians.html and began to be vaccinated against childhood diseases. In this circumstance, parents were able to obtain or renew their National Identification Cards.

Note when launching this program the day before https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-22238-haiti-social-launch-of-the-konte-m-mwen-konte-program-in-bassin-bleu.html more than a thousand children were registered in the national register of the National Office of Identification (ONI) and vaccinated and more than 600 citizens of the commune of Bassin Bleu were able to obtain their National Identification Card (CIN).

The program "Konte'm Mwen Konte" will be spread in the 10 departments of the country, in order to allow all the children of Haiti to have their UNIN.
