Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State, will meet Sunday in Haiti President Préval. A visit without surprises while the country is undergoing a post electoral political crisis and that the pressures are increasing on the government.

To unblock a situation with unpredictable consequences, the Platform INITE of the candidate Célestin, has announced Wednesday, the withdrawal of its candidate, object of all the controversies, from the electoral race.However, 48 hours after this announcement, Jude Célestin has still not made a statement to make know his reactions and his decisionn, face to this announcement.

During her stay, the Secretary of State intends to consult with members of civil society, political actors and international partners on the ongoing electoral situation as well as reconstruction efforts. An interview is also included in its agenda with Edmond Mulet, the representative of the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and the civilian head of the Minustah.
