Preparations for the 2018 carnival festivities in Cap-Haïtien are well underway. The construction of the official stand in front of the city hall is 65% finalized, the Carnaval project is already sent to Port-au-Prince thus showing a budget of 38 million gourdes, the Carnival Local Committee has already worked on the programming and marketing festivities.

In Cap-Haïtien, the pre-Carnival period will take place on Sundays 14-21-28 January 2018 and Sunday 4 February 2018.

The launch of the Carnival 2018 festivities will take place on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at 2 pm, with activities such as: walking bands, disguised groups, musical entertainment on the official stand of the Carnival 2018 - Town Hall of Cap-Haitien.

The parade circuit is the following: 20G Street, 20H, 24H, 24A, 2A, 2L, 18L, 18H, 20H Town Hall of Cap-Haïtien.

DJ Synthèse, animation of the streets from 7 pm, the circuit will be Street 23 Blvd, 24 Blvd, 24A, Samaria, Centre Medico, 18L, 18H, 20H, Town Hall of Cap-Haitien.
