Haiti - Football : Haiti Digicel Cup 2010

Officially launched on August 24, 2010, the 2010 season was a great success. The Tempête of Saint Marc won the opening serie and was crowned Champion of the Champions, while the Victory Club of Port-au-Prince was crowned champion of the serie of closing.

"The 2010 season of Digicel National Championship of First division comes to its end and once again thousands of Haitian football fans were pleasantly surprised by the quality of play produced by the 16 teams that evolved in the first division this season."

As in previous years, Haiti Digicel Cup 2010, which take place from February 12 to 20, 2011, will bring together the 8 teams of the first division which are top ranked in the series of the opening and of closing of the 2010 season including:

  • Tempête

  • ASCAR

  • Victory

  • Baltimore

  • Association Sportive Capoise (ASC),

  • Aigle Noir

  • AS Mirebalais

  • America des Cayes

Once again, the Super 8 remains faithful to the tradition of honoring the best at the end of the season. Prizes totaling more than US$20,000 are reserved for the champion and vice champion teams and the best players and referees of the season.

This year the National Stadium Sylvio Cator and the stadiums of Cap, Saint Marc and Les Cayes will receive various events which will be played on knockout basis.
