Haiti - FLASH Brazil : Resumption of VISA family reunification

The Embassy of Brazil in Port-au-Prince informs that appointments for VISA family reunification applications will be resumed from Monday, March 12, 2018, as part of Brazil's new migration law.

Appointments must be made on the website of the "Brazil Visa Application Center" (BVAC), located at the premises of the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

Online application process :

https://haiti.iom.int/bvac/ht/node/76

Unlike VISA issued under the previous law, for which a fee of US$200 was requested, the new VISA family reunification will be free of fees. he only payment that will have to be made will be for the service charge of US$60.00 on the account of IOM / BVAC to SOGEBANK: 2616027989.

Appointments for humanitarian visas for Haitian citizens are still suspended and should be resumed soon.

IOM notes that it has signed an agreement with the Federative Republic of Brazil to provide support for the demands of Humanitarian Visa and Visa Family Reunification (VITEM XI) in Haiti on behalf of the Visa Section of Embassy of Brazil in Port-au-Prince.

Please note that the BVAC staff provides only an administrative assistance and should not be solicited for advice. BVAC staff does not play any role, of any nature whatsoever, in the visa-making process, which remains the sole prerogative of the Visa Section of the Brazilian Embassy in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

WARNING :

The BVAC warns against certain individuals who target potential claimants with a view to defrauding them. These individuals circulate with fake newsletters and payment containing fake bank numbers.

Note that the BVAC managed by IOM is the exclusive provider for Visa Humanitaire (VITEM III) and Visa Family Reunification (VITEM XI) applications in Haiti on behalf of the Visa Section of the Brazilian Embassy in Port-au-Prince.

Please exercise caution when interacting with individuals who are not affiliated with the BVAC or the Embassy of Brazil.

Do not pay any hand-to-hand money or bank accounts other than the account listed on the BVAC website under "Application Information - Processing Fees".
