Haiti - Social : Big visit to the oldest woman of Haiti (125 years)

Friday, March 23, 2018, on the heights of the 8th communal section of Petit-Goâve, Jacky Lumarque, Rector of Quisqueya University and former Prime Minister Jacques Edouard Alexis visited Mrs. Jamba, the oldest of Haiti who would be 125 years old https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-23845-icihaiti-petit-goave-at-125-she-would-be-the-oldest-woman-in-haiti-and-of-world.html

Also part of this visit were Deputy Mayor Délor Desgranges, Smith Fleurival, Representative of the Félicité Foundation (Claire Blaise) led by Mrs. Bayyinah Bello and Mackenzy Innocent who played the role of intermediary Petit-Goâve and Port-au -Prince regarding the care of Mrs. Jamba and the correspondent of HaitiLibre the journalists Guyto Mathieu and the journalist Dieudonné Délice.

While Mrs. Judith Augustin was cleaning Mrs. Jamba and put her a clean dress, her house has been cleaned and a new bed with a brand new mattress has been installed. Food and hygienic products were also brought to her by his visitors.

Rector Lumarque was struck by the environment in which Mrs. Jamba lived and the strong personality of the latter. As for Jacques Edouard Alexis, he was moved by the vitality of Mrs. Jamba who, despite her very advanced age, almost deaf and blind, still retains all her lucidity.

Jacky Lumarque confirmed the willingness of Quisqueya University to take over Mrs. Jamba for the rest of her life.
