Haiti - Justice : Dozens of police officers of the Penitentiary Administration trained by the OPC

Monday at the National Police School on Frères's Road, the Office of Citizen Protection (OPC) team conducted a training session focused on human rights, aimed at new agents of the 28th Promotion of the Directorate of the Penitentiary Administration (DAP).

This training, which benefited 62 agents including 9 women, aimed to provide these agents with guidelines that could help them to adopt a human rights-based approach in the practice of their profession.

The role and attribution of the OPC, the introduction to human rights, the protection mechanisms at the national, regional and international levels are some of the topics that have been addressed in the context of this transfer.
