Wednesday Cuba deported 77 Haitian compatriots in conflict with Cuban laws. Upon arrival, they were taken care of by the National Migration Office (ONM) agents who took them to the ONM's Accommodation Center, waiting to help them find their families.

According to NJO Director Eudes Lajoie, the majority of Haitians expelled were born in Cuba, but lost their Cuban nationality after serving prison sentences.
