With the winning song "A little of us" by Garou, she once again proved her talent with this historic victory where she received 60% of the popular vote.

Yama Laurent will represent Haiti at the World Championship Perfoming Arts next July in California, USA.

Recall that Yama Laurent left Haiti after the earthquake of January 12, 2010, for medical studies in the Dominican Republic. She flew later to Canada to find her mother, whom she had been separated for several years.
