"Tèt kale" gang leader is dead

On Thursday, Saint Jean Romélien alias "Tèt kale", one of the presumed gang leaders of the Grand-Ravine neighborhood (Martissant), would hava died from a gunshot wound. Released from prison on June 11, "Tèt kale" wanted to return to Grand Ravine to regain control of the area that is currently in the hands of another gang leader.

Criminal assizes resumes

The criminal assizes without jury assistance canceled in 2017 because of the clerks' strike, will finally take place on July 9 at the Public Prosecutor's Office in Port-au-Prince. The jury-assisted session will be held on July 16 at the same location.
