Haiti - Security : Operation «Boukle lari a», the PNH deploys 3,000 police officers

Monday at a press conference, the National Police of Haiti (PNH) announced the launch of the operation "Boukle Lari a" whose mission is to ensure the safety of the population and tourists during the last two weeks of the summer season. No less than 3,000 police officers are mobilized for this purpose in this operation.

According to the new spokesperson of the PNH, the Commissioner Michel Ange Louis Jeunes https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-25136-haiti-news-zapping.html the operation "Boukle Lari a" aims at reinforcing the police presence in the streets, getting closer to the population and reassuring her that it can work in all peace of mind with its daily activities.

Moreover, in order to protect order and public peace, the PNH has decided to limit night-time activities organized throughout the national territory. According to Jean Ismane Auguste, the Chief of Cabinet of the Departmental Director of the West, during working days these night activities will be allowed until 10:00 pm and on weekends until midnight. Offenders to these measures will be recalled to order.
