To 9 months of the next elections next October for the renewal of the third of the Senate, of the vacancy of Guy Philippe in Grand-Anse, of the entire Chamber of Deputies of municipalities and other vacant elected positions, Me Carlos Hercule Vice President of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) confirmed that everything was in the process of putting in place for the organization of these elections. He recalled that the electoral budget and the electoral law were finalized since August 2018, the budget has been in the hands of the executive for several months and the draft electoral law is in Parliament, as for the electoral calendar it is being finalized. In summary, the CEP is on time and waiting for the budget decisions of the Executive and the Parliament.

Remember that in the Senate, in addition to the vacant seat of Guy Philippe (Grand-Anse) the seat of 10 senators whose term ends in 2020 is at stake in this election :

Carlos Hercule, recalls that the closure of the list of electors will be on 9 July or 90 days before the poll.
