Tuesday at the Diplomatic Salon of the Chamber of Deputies, in the framework of the traditional meetings between the Ambassadors in Haiti and the Presidents of Bureau in the Parliament, the Deputy of Delmas Gary Bodeau, President of the Lower House met, with the Ambassador of France José Gomez.

The two men discussed the electoral law, the organization of the elections, the commitment of Haiti vis-à-vis the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the national budget and the Haitian political situation.

Gary Bodeau reassured the vote of the electoral law at the level of the lower house to provide the country with a legal tool that could facilitate the organization of the next election.

There was also talk on the need for President Jovenel Moïse, to appoint a new Prime Minister soon as the constitution of 1987 amended, informs us the communication unit of the Chamber of Deputies.
