Haiti - FLASH : 2nd victory of the diaspora against Trump and the expulsion of Haitians ! 15/04/2019 08:22:33
US Federal Judge William F. Kuntz of New York, in a 145-page detailed ruling issued on April 11, 2019, a temporary injunction at the national level preventing the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) from terminating the TPS (Temporary Protected Status) of some 50,000 Haitians living in the United States. This decision is the conclusion of the Saget vs. Trump federal lawsuit in quashing the Trump administration's decision to terminate the TPS as of July 22, 2019. Judge Kuntz clarified that he could not issue a final injunction because the delay granted by the US Government had not yet expired. It is expected that the Trump Government will appeal this decision... See also : SL/ HaitiLibre
