Regarding the presence or absence of players at the ceremony at the National Palace, the FHF said that of the five Gold Cup Grenadiers, present in Haiti on the day of the ceremony, three of them were available and were at the Palace they are Steeven Saba (Violette AC / Haiti), Wilde-Donald Guerrier (Qarabağ FC / Azerbaijan) and Guerrier and Nazon (St Mirren FC / Scotland), concerning the absence of the other two Dutherson Clerveaux (Cavaly AS / Haiti) was already engaged in a BAC activity and Djimy Alexis Bend (AS Capoise / Haiti), whose club had bought the plane ticket for his trip to Port-au-Prince, could not come because of the delay of Sunrise Airway flight, connecting Cap Haitien - Port-au-Prince, scheduled for 10:00 am and postponed to 4:00 pm

The FHF recalls that one of the requirements of the football regulations is to ban all forms of discrimination of any kind and that the FHF is therefore proud that all the players of the national teams, licensed football, all officials in general and other members of the football family are treated on an equal footing.

The Federation is taking this opportunity to reiterate its gratitude to the Haitian people from here and elsewhere for the immense affection they bring to support the national team during this 2019 Gold Cup.
