On Tuesday, his club Qarabağ FK (Azerbaijan) announced on his Facebook page that he had decided to separate from Wilde-Donald Guerrier currently in Haiti, justifying this decision by the fact that Guerrier who is currently in Haiti has not joined the club on the agreed date and that he did not participate in the meeting with Partizani during the qualifying phase of the Champions League, nor at the training camp, while thanking him and wishing him good luck in his career.

Reacting to this announcement Wilde-Donald Warrior (whose value as a player is estimated at a little over a million dollars) explained "My contract was coming to an end [20 June 2020] Before returning to Haiti, FK Qarabag and I had entered into a verbal agreement (in which he had set out his conditions) that I would return to the club on condition that it respected this agreement... Without respecting the verbal agreement reached, the leaders wanted me to come back to the training. I told them no, that they should pay me as well first. So, amicably, they took the decision to cancel the verbal agreement."
