PNH : Michel-Ange Gédéon's statement

"Police offciers, Never be the men and women of a conjuncture or political system. Be the men and women of Haiti ! You must be the protectors of good people while worrying the thugs who sow grief in families. Do not give give them time to worry others. Under my leadership, bandits must be always worried regardless of their political chapel, because the force must be the law," said Michel-Ange Gédéon, Director General of the National Police of Haiti (PNH).

Drones in all departments

At a press briefing after a three-day workshop on the operation of emergency operations centers, Jerry Chandler, Director of Civil Protection revealed "all our departmental teams have today at least one certified drone operator, with a work kit that will allow, for example, to conduct preliminary assessments more quickly after an event. We will be able to make decisions as soon as possible; these first decisions that are so crucial in the management of emergencies [...]"

Cap-Haïtien : Graduation of about fifty firefighters

Saturday, at the Cathedral was held the graduation Ceremony of about fifty agents of the fire department of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Town Hall of Cap-Haitien. The municipal administration took the opportunity to salute the courage of the young agents deeply devoted to serving the community and thank the partners who contributed to their training including the Chaplain organization and the National Police of Haiti. A certificate ceremony was held at Town Hall in the presence of local authorities.

18 press professionals trained on disability

Thursday the Office of the Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (BSEIPH) and the organization Christian Blind Mission (CBM) have organized for 18 media professionals a training day around the issue disability in Haiti. The main purpose of this training was to inform and sensitize journalists to enable them to better take into account the rights of persons with disabilities in the exercise of their profession.
