The Ministry of National Education has released the 2019-2020 school calendar. Back to school is scheduled for Monday, September 9, 2019.

This year there will be 189 school days and 11 days off. The number of hours of instruction will be 945 hours for the basic and 1.134 hours for the secondary.

Control 1: 24 to 30 October 2019;

Control 2: 16 to 20 December 2019;

Control 3: 21-27 March 2020;

Control 4: June 15 to July 2, 2020.

Official Exam Dates :

Permanent baccalaureate: from 16 to 20 December 2019;

9th AF: June 15 to 18, 2020;

Normal Schools of Teachers (ENI): June 15-19, 2020;

Family Education Centers (CEF): June 15-19, 2020;

High School Exams (end of secondary studies): June 29 to July 2, 2020;

Technical and Professional Training Examinations (FTP): July 27 to July 11, 2020.

Opening of classes: September 9, 2019;

Stopping Academic Activities: October 30, 2019;

Resumption of classes: November 4, 2019;

Stop / end of year holidays: December 23, 2019;

Resumption of courses: January 4, 2020;

Registration form registration for state examinations: September 24 to October 26, 2019;

Registration for the 2019-2020 state exams (new and rectified): 8th of October to 23rd of November 2019;

Permanent Bac registration: October 15th to 31st;

Teaching Day (x7) or 49 hours of training;

Launch of the school survey: January 31, 2020.
