Haiti - FLASH : Shooting at Harry's restaurant in Pétion-ville, 4 victims

On the night of Thursday to Friday, August 16 a brief shooting broke out at the famous Harry's restaurant on Pan-American Avenue (Pétion-ville) following an altercation between two customers. Review 1 dead and 3 wounded including the guitarist Délices Mezifils aka "Délices" in show at Harry's restaurant.

According to testimonies, an armed police offcier, assigned to the security of the national palace, would have made remarks to another client for his noisy behavior, identified as Steeve Louis aka "A.K.A. Boodum" (also armed), remarks that quickly degenerated between the two men, who took out their weapons and fired.

During the brief exchange of fire, Steeve Louis was mortally wounded and died on the spot, the police offcier was wounded as well as the Guitarist "Délices" and another client of the establishment

Délices, the ex-guitarist of Djakout #1 and Zikòs published a message on WhatsApp during an exchange with other musicians "[...] I am in the hospital. I'm waiting for an X-ray so that the doctor can make the decision whether to operate or not. It depends on where the projectile is housed."

An investigation was opened by the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ) to discover the exact circumstances of this fatal incident.
