Shooting between the PNH and bandits in Pétion-ville

Friday in the early evening, at the level of Doco (Meyotte) in the commune of Pétion-ville, during a shooting triggered during an intervention between officers of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) and individuals heavily armed, one of the bandit fell under the shots of the PNH and his accomplices fled and are actively sought. During this operation, the PNH recovered a "Uzi luger" brand assault rifle, serial number 16450

Montreal Consulate Closed

The Consulate General of Haiti in Montreal informs the Haitian community, especially the public in general, that its offices will be closed on Monday, September 2, 2019 due to Labor Day in Canada. Services will resume at regular hours on Tuesday, September 3, 2019.

Gary Bodeau discusses with Minujusth
