On Thursday morning a group of Haitian and African migrants clashed with the military authorities at the Siglo XXI migratory station at Tapachula in Chiapas State (southern Mexico on the border with Guatemala).

The protest against the military police of the National Guard and the federal police was due to the fear of migrants being expelled from Mexico, demanding a document allowing them to stay in the Mexican territory, saying that their lives were threatened if they were deported to their home country while trying to escape from the Center.

Fortunately, no protesters were injured during these muscular confrontations and their attempt to cross the fences at the main entrance of the immigration station failed.
