As part of the League of Nations of the Confederation of North America, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF), our Grenadiers will face in opening match on 7 September Curaçao https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-28675-haiti-football-end-of-the-training-camp-of-our-grenadiers-in-florida.html and home in return match on September 10th at the Stade Sylvio Cator de Port-in Prince, on a new artificial grass of last generation https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-28211-icihaiti-sport-a-new-generation-lawn-for-sylvio-cator-stadium.html

In order to respond to CONCACAF security requests for the smooth running of the League of Nations matches and to ensure the safety of balloon fans, Chief Inspector Gary Desrosiers, Deputy Spokesman of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), assures that all will be well and confirmed that the PNH has a developed a security plan and that all arrangements are made to ensure the security of the match Haiti - Curaçao, September 10th.

"[...] we have already taken all steps to ensure the safety of the population before, during and after the meeting. 1,000 police officers from various UDMO units (Departmental Units for the Maintenance of the Order), CIMO (Intervention and Maintenance Corps), BIM (Motorized Intervention Brigade) and traffic police will be deployed. The red areas (Bicentennial, Martissant, etc...) will be under total control [...]"
