Haiti - Reconstruction : Michel Martelly today to Pandiassou

The President-elect Joseph Michel Martelly will travel this Saturday, May 7 in Hinche to begin to work for the benefit of the population of Central Plateau.

The purpose of this travel is to provide his personal support to the national project of Lacs Collinaires in the locality of Pandiassou near Hinche. On this occasion he will be accompanied by Edmond Mulet, head of the Minustah, of Lut Fabert-Goossens, Head of the Delegation of the European Union in Haiti and of Didier Lebret, Ambassador of France in Haiti.

This project, initiated by Brother Franklin Armand, is of paramount importance for the recovery of the irrigation and fish farming. Michel Martelly intends to bring his own support. Agriculture and national production are among the pillars of his agenda for change and sustainable development.

At 7 days of his inauguration, the President Martelly is already passed to the practical phase of his vision of a Head of State at the service of his people. "There will be no fruit without work" it is for this reason, that he intends to give the example of a President at work, practical, dynamic and diligent throughout his mandate.
